Hire kit from Argyll Kayaks to explore the local area - the Argyll coastline offers some of the finest sea kayaking and recreational paddling in the world. For experienced paddlers wanting to explore our coast, we can hire out composite sea kayaks and recreational plastic kayaks at competitive rates for a day or weekend.
We also offer half day hire service for sit on top kayaks and stand up paddle boards.

If you’re thinking of buying a boat from us, you may wish to take advantage of our hire service for an extended trial - we’ll refund the cost of your hire (subject to conditions) if you decide to buy having hired out a boat beforehand.

Hire rates start from just £50 a day for a composite sea kayak including spray deck and buoyancy aid. £90 per weekend, £250 per week.
Recreational/plastic kayaks including buoyancy aid start at £35 per day.
Our kayak hire includes Reed Chillcheater spray decks and Yak Xipe or Palm Meander buoyancy aids.
You can also hire paddles (we are agents for Werner paddles and Celtic Paddles), trolleys, J cradles and other equipment at extra cost. Just let us know what you need.
We have a selection of sit on tops (SOTs) and stand up paddle boards (SUPs) for customers to hire.
SOTs: we hire RTM Mojito sit on tops (Venture's Islay SOT coming soon)
SUPs: RTM PE Koa (310cm) and PE 10' Freeze (300cm) stand up paddle boards.
We provide appropriate paddles and buoyancy aids.

We require you to complete a boat hire booking form and read and agree our conditions of hire. We require photo ID and confirmation of address - a photo driving licence or passport and utility bill for example would all be acceptable forms of identity.
